Founded in 1986 as a supplier of container lashing materials and equipment during the containerisation era, Con-Lash diversified over the years to become a general ship supplier offering maintenance running stock, provisions and slop chest merchandise to all types of merchant ships.

Today, the company is recognised by many ship owners worldwide as ranking amongst the top preferred ship chandlers in Singapore. From a humble one-man operation selling container lashing materials, we now supply thousands of items such as provisions, bonded, technical stores and consumables to vessels both off-shore and in port.

Since 2019, we have invested in digital technologies to improve operational efficiency and provide greater transparency and convenience to our customers. 1986

Con-Lash Supplied begun life as a one-main operation from a single office table in Kelantan Lane. Our Founder and Managing Director, Tony Ng started as a supplier of container-lashing equipment.

1987

Business picked up and we were able to move into our own office at Eng Cheong Towers.

1989

Within 3 years of establishment, Con-Lash Supplies was converted to a Private Limited Company. Our team grew to 20 members ad we moved to a bigger space at 42 Horne Road.

1990

Con-Lash Supplies enters into our first joint venture with our Greek Partners to form W.W. Trade Singapore.

1996

1996 marks the 10th Anniversary of Con-Lash Supplies. Our Managing Director, Mr. Tony Ng joins the Singapore Association of Ship Supplier and Services (SASS).

1998

Recognising the need to access new markets, Con-Lash Supplies embarked on the process to attain ISO standards and was awarded ISO9001-2000 Certification.

2000

2000 [Reason for moving to Tuas], we moved into our third office at 143 Tuas View Square.

2007

As business continues to grow, so did the need for a bigger space. On the 1st October, we acquired a 55,000 square foot premise at 2 Tuas West Street. With a bigger premise, we are able to increase our import capacity and transfer the economies of scale to our clients.

2009

After a decade of faithful service and contribution, Mr. Tony Ng was voted as President of SASS. In his first term, he executed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Shanghai Port Trade Association.

2010

In 2010, we upgraded to ISO 9001-2008 Certification. This is our commitment to upholding quality assurance for our customers.

2014

We were conferred the Asia Pacific Brands Award 2014 – an acknowledgment of our brand equity and ranking as among the leading ship suppliers in Singapore.

2016

As we reached our 20th Anniversary, Mr. Tony Ng received the Entrepreneur of the Year award. Inaugurated in 1989 by the Rotary Club of Singapore, the EYA is a nod to our Managing Director’s outstanding performance as a business owner and entrepreneur
